Entries Sought for Arts Council?s 2012 Photography Competition and Exhibit
ABILENE ? The Arts Council of Dickinson County is seeking entries for its Annual Photography Competition and Exhibit which is open to any amateur photographer in Dickinson County. All photographs must be dropped off Friday, February 24th at the Arts Council office, 203 N Cedar, Abilene, between 2 - 6pm. All entries for the competition should be mounted on mount board available for $1.00 per piece from the Dickinson County Extension Office. Please refer to the 2012 regulations for more details. Photographs will be exhibited at the Eisenhower Presidential Library, 200 NE 4th, from March 3 through March 16, 2012. An opening reception with judge?s comments will be held Saturday, March 3, from 3 - 5pm. Judge?s comments will be at 4:00pm. Complete rules and entry forms may be obtained at the Arts Council?s office Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For more information, call 263-1884. The Photography Competition and Exhibit is presented in partnership with the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in joint mission to promote the arts in Dickinson County.
