The event will also include a heavy hors d?oeuvre buffet, desserts and cash bar. Tickets are $20 per person, or $35 per couple, and are available beginning January 3rd, at the Arts Council office, 203 N. In addition to his professionally recorded background tracks, Les will also be performing with his combo of professional musicians. If you haven?t had the opportunity to attend one of Les? concerts, you can visit his website, www.leslankhorst.com, to hear a sampling of his music and the wide variety of styles he offers his audience. Les? concerts provide, without fail, a fun and entertaining evening that will make a perfect Valentine outing for you and your friend or sweetheart. And for those who want to do more than tap their toes, there will be room provided for dancing.

Les Lankhorst is originally from Salina, Kansas and is a graduate of Kansas State University. He performs his one-man show all over the world - - on cruise ships, at resorts and at concert venues. Les is heavily influenced by some of the world?s legendary swing/jazz vocalists including Mel Tormé, Nat King Cole, and Harry Connick Jr., but is best known for his amazing Frank Sinatra stylings. In November 2005, Les joined the cast of ?The Rat Pack is Back? in Las Vegas, Nevada as Frank Sinatra. More recently, Les headlined with The Guy Lombardo Orchestra and made a special appearance with members of the Acapulco Orchestra.

The Valentine Concert is presented in partnership with the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in joint mission to promote the arts in Dickinson County.

The Arts Council of Dickinson County is a non-profit organization supported by its members and dedicated to promoting the arts among families in Dickinson County.
