The Marshall County Veterans Memorial is an octagon-shaped wall with the names and service information of Marshall County veterans lining the inside of the wall. There is a smaller octagon-shaped wall in the middle honoring those Marshall County veterans killed or missing in action.
The project was funded by veterans who purchased plaques to go on the memorial wall and donations from various individuals, businesses and veteran service organizations. Today there are over 2,100 names on the wall and it continues to grow daily. The memorial is a lasting tribute to those Marshall County veterans who answered their country's call when needed and served honorably, with some giving the ultimate sacrifice.
