Located on 25 acres off the Chisholm Trail on the banks of the Arkansas River. A nationally recognized and accredited living history site. Old Cowtown Museum gives visitors a true taste of the myths, truths, and romance of the "Old West" and America's frontier. Forty furnished buildings including 26 original structures, artifacts, live animals, and working farm, combined with costumed, living history reenactors authenticate a true Old West town. Visit the Chuckwagon Cafe and enjoy the many special events at the Old Cowtown Museum. Guests enter through the new Visitors Center where the S. G. Bastian & Sons Mercantile provides a wonderful shopping experience. This beautiful, spacious building, complete with fireplace, is available for rental.
