Diners looking for an authentic ethnic meal in a historic setting will want to visit Olde Towne Restaurant & Bakery. The Low-German ethnic food served by owners Linden and Dorie Thiessen is homemade and part of Hillsborošs heritage. Homemade 'from scratch' cooking with quality ingredients is what sets Olde Towne apart. Breakfast include waffles & pancakes,breakfast sandwiches;eggs to order,homemade golden hash browns and other items. One of our specialties are German Mennonite ethnic dishes. We offer a variety of dinners and sandwiches made to order, as well as additional entrees available for parties and groups. On Fridays we offer delicious Tex Mex with our own homemade salsas and sauces. Saturdays from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm we offer our German buffet which also includes a variety of homestyle dishes. The Saturday German Buffet as well as the Sunday Buffet include unlimited trips to our fresh salad bar and dessert bar.
