Olsburg is the hub for visitors to the northern end of Tuttle Creek Reservoir, which lies just west of the town. This part of the lake offers Randolph State Park, the Olsburg Marshes and a 12,000 acre Wildlife Refuge only a short distance away. The northern marshes of Tuttle Creek Lake are comprised of 3 linked wetlands totaling 135 acres of water. This area is located just 7 miles north of Olsburg in northern Pottawatomie County. The grassland pastures and floodplains of the lake surround this wetland site. The undeveloped land provides ideal habitat for a variety of wildlife species year round, and is a designated wildlife management area with public access and public hunting opportunities. This area can be a great stop for visitors; however, high lake levels can flood the road to the marshes making access limited.
