The Courthouse was built in 1933, the 5th courthouse since the County was founded. The current Courthouse was built to replace the one destroyed in the 1932 Tornado. Visitors welcome. The Washington County Courthouse, in Washington, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on 4-06-2000.
The Washington County Courthouse is of the Art Deco Architectural Style. It is owned by the local government.
