West Rolling Hills Park is operated by the Corps of Engineers and located on the south side of Milford Lake. As its' name implies, the park's landscape is made up of gently rolling hills with open fields of native prairie grass surrounded by timbered areas. Along with fully developed campsites and a shower building, the park is home to one of two marinas located at the lake. Thunderbird Marina is a full service marina, which also offers camping, rental cabins, and a limited service restaurant. The Corps campground offers a swimming beach for campers' use only where campers may also safely pull their boats up to the shoreline on either side of the beach. A fish cleaning station is located in the park as well as a limited number of free, primitive campsites. Individual campsites in the Corps fee campground may be reserved through the National Recreation Reservation Service by calling toll free 1-877-444-6777 or for TDD 1-877-444-6777.
